Bill Schauman and Jeff Hubins have been certified mediators since 2022. They both have been practicing personal injury, employment, and business litigation for over 20 years, including wrongful death claims, automobile accident claims, premises liability claims, wage and hour class actions, single-plaintiff discrimination/retaliation/harassment claims, and trial work.

With their vast experience in handling and litigating these types of cases, they understand both the positives and negatives, and more importantly the risks involved in each case. In the employment and business matters, they have represented both plaintiffs and defendants, which gives them the unique ability to see issues from different perspectives. As for personal injury matters, they both have seen almost every type of case, every type of issue that arises in those cases, and have an extensive understanding of medical issues and damages.

More importantly, Bill and Jeff both believe that mediation is the best process our legal system has
when it comes to resolving cases. They will assist you in coming up with the best possible resolution for your case.

Scheduling a Mediation

Bill and Jeff are both willing to conduct their mediations via ZOOM or in person, whichever the parties’ preference.

If the parties prefer in-person mediation, we have an office in Walnut Creek to conduct two-party mediation at no cost to the parties. We also have access to larger offices in Pleasanton for a reasonable fee for multiple party mediations. Bill and Jeff are both also willing to conduct the mediation in-person throughout most of the Bay Area if one of the parties has space to host the mediation.

Once the mediation is scheduled Bill and Jeff will contact the parties to schedule a pre-mediation telephone or ZOOM call to discuss the case.
