For more than 25 years, Bill Schauman has worked extensively in the field of personal injury, handling a wide variety of disputes ranging from automobile accidents to complex construction site incidents. This experience has given him a deep understanding of the legal, personal, and emotional dynamics that often arise in conflict.
What drew Bill to mediation was the opportunity to help people find resolution outside of the courtroom. He values the chance to bring clarity, balance, and perspective to difficult situations while giving all parties a voice in the process. Bill’s background as a litigator allows him to recognize the risks and challenges of prolonged disputes, while his approach as a mediator focuses on fostering collaboration and constructive dialogue.
We urge the parties to exchange mediation briefs as far in advance of the mediation as possible. With that said, we request that the parties submit their mediation briefs one week prior to the mediation.
We request that the parties try to limit their mediation briefs to 10 pages in length (not including exhibits).
Although not required, we also highly encourage the parties to exchange their mediation briefs with each other
Please email your mediation brief to either Bill at wschauman@schauman-hubins.com or to Jeff at jhubins@schauman-hubins.com.
